Tuesday at noon marked the official opening of the 61st Wyoming Legislative Session in Cheyenne. Representative Rosie Berger phoned Sheridan Media this morning and told us.
The transition between administrations can provide a challenge in the first few days, given that so many new bodies fill leadership roles. But, Berger says, “We're off and running.”
Berger heads the Joint Appropriations Committee, and her plans for today are to meet with new State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Cindy Hill.
We have links provided below, as well as in the Quick Info section of this website should you desire to contact legislators while they are in Cheyenne.
And throughout the 61st Session, members of the Sheridan and Johnson County delegation will be guests on Public Pulse to give us updates on how their bills are progressing. Berger will be on with us Tuesday, January 18th.
