A news release issued by the Wyoming Highway Patrol states that 21-year-old Buffalo resident Dalli Johnson died in a one-vehicle rollover late Sunday night six miles east of Buffalo in Johnson County.
The news release indicated that Johnson was eastbound on US 16 when his vehicle drifted off the right side of the roadway. Johnson then over corrected the steering to the left which caused the vehicle to come back onto the roadway going into a broadside slide across the roadway and then off the roadway on the left side. Once off the roadway the vehicle then overturned.
During the rollover, Johnson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was totally ejected from the cab of the pickup. Additional information on the accident has not yet been released by the Highway Patrol, as the incident remains under investigation.
