The Wyoming Workforce Development Council, in partnership with the Governor’s Office and the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, has announced the dates for the 2010 Governor’s Summit on Workforce Solutions June 17th and 18th in Casper, Wyoming. This year’s summit theme is Valleys of Change: Mountains of Opportunity.
The conference, the sixth one of its kind, will provide an opportunity to enhance the partnerships between employers, workforce and economic development professionals, educators and other state and local partners. Department of Workforce Services Director Joan Evans.

Registration for the Summit is $125. The Department of Workforce Services is offering its Workforce Development Training Fund program as a means to cover up to 60 percent of the cost of registration. For more information on the Governor’s Summit or to register, you can visit www.wyowdc.org.
