The University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service has teamed up with a number of local agencies in Sheridan to host the first-ever Local Foods Expo.
UW Cooperative Extension Service Food Safety and Educator, Kentz Willis, says that the Food Expo is a chance to expand on the relationship between consumers and producers of locally grown foods.
The Local Foods Expo is part of the Eat Wyoming Local Foods Project that began in January of 2010. Hopes are for this to become an annual event.
The event will take place Saturday, April 30th at the Sheridan College Watt Agricultural Center beginning at 9 am.
