18-year-old Aline McWilliams of Sheridan made her initial appearance in Sheridan County Circuit Court Tuesday. McWilliams is charged with three counts, Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance - Heroin; Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance - Cocaine and Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana.
McWilliams was arrested Monday with her boyfriend Trevor Dunham, who faces five felony drug charges himself. Dunham will make his Initial Appearance in Circuit Court Thursday at 2 o'clock.
During her Initial Appearance, McWilliams asked the Court if her bond could be lowered so that she could finish school and attend graduation, as she's a senior at Sheridan High School. Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Darci Arsene pointed out to the Court that McWilliams is currently on probation with Juvenile Justice, and that a recent UA came back positive for cocaine.
Circuit Court Judge John Sampson stated that due to the serious nature of the alleged charges, he would continue the $25,000 cash only bond on McWilliams. Bond for both McWilliams and Dunham was set Monday. Dunham's bond is $100,000 cash.
And 18-year-old Brionna Neiger had her preliminary hearing in Circuit Court Tuesday on a Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance charge.
Testimony provided by DCI Special Agent Jason Ruby with the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office indicated that Neiger was selling drugs for Trevor Dunham, and that those drugs included ecstasy, heroin, cocaine and marijuana. Judge Sampson ruled that there was enough evidence to bind the case over to District Court.
