With constrained economic conditions, many questioned whether the optional 1-cent sales tax would be renewed in Sheridan County. Sheridan Media's Betsy Love has more:
In fact, not only was the sales tax renewed, but was passed, you could say, with "flying colors." Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey was both surprised, and not so surprised, by these results:
And Mayor Kinskey says that based on the surveys they received from the public:
The total count for the 1-Cent Optional Tax was 7,131 in favor of renewal and 3,268 against.
