Swinging for a Title & Now Taylor has it!

A year and a half ago a Freshman Taylor Nance, seen here, was playing in the Big Horn/Tongue River Golf Invite and now Taylor is the Wyoming 2A State Champion - what a difference a year makes. Saturday the Big Horn Junior won the Class 2A State Golf Title in Lovell. On Friday she shot a first day 95 and followed that up with a 98 on Saturday to finish a stroke ahead of Sundance's Kacie O'Connor. Taylor's teammate Kaleigh Anderson finished in eighth place and the two of them are now members of the 2A Girls All-State list. As a team the Big Horn girls finished in second place.

The year Taylor first picked up a golf club as a Freshman wasn't all smooth sailing as this photo from "in the rough" shows - but now she is a State Champion
