Summer is here!

Summer officially started in the Sheridan area at 5:09 pm Wednesday - and this is what it looked like just an hour later. While most of the nation was sweltering it out with temperatures above 90 we peaked out at 78 degrees. Temperatures are headed up however, with Thursday expected to hit 84, Friday 90, Saturday 91 and - get ready for this - 102 on Sunday. So enjoy the first, 3rd Thursday, Street Festival before things really heat up. Dixie Johnson, Executive Director Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce, says, "There’ll be dozens of vendors, a food court with a vast array of choices, Gary Small & the Coyotes on the main stage, Strongman demonstrations on the south stage, the Drum & Bugle Corps, the National Guard’s  rock climbing wall, a mechanical riding bull, chicken roping … and lots more. No admission charge, but must be ready for a good time! Will we see you there???"
