The Student Council and National Honor Society at Arvada/Clearmont school had students and staff K-12 collected new stuffed animals. “We wanted to collect 100 animals by the 100th day of school. Thursday, Feb. 24th was our 100th day and we collected 126 animals that were donated to the Sheridan Memorial Hospital to be given to sick children and new babies,” says Debbie Gorzalka, Student Council Adviser.

“The hospital welcomes these fuzzy gifts and we have already begun to distribute them to our youngest patients,” according to Cecile Pattison in Community Relations at Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
