Special Recognition of 100 Wins & 6 Titles

Thursday evening, following a full-house dinner capped off with a season of football game highlights on the big screen, it was Bronc football award night in the auditorium at Sheridan High School. Toward the end of the awards assistant football coaches Michael McGuire, Darin Gilbertson, Jared Petrino, Jeff Mowry, D.J. Dearcorn and Kevin Rizer presented Head Coach Don Julian with this surprise. As Darin Gilbertson pulled off the blue covering Coach Julian, second from the left, saw for the first time this recognition of his 100th football win and 6 state championships. 100 one dollar bills representing the 100 football coaching victories of Coach Julian's career - a mark that was reached in the Bronc 28 to 0 victory over the Rock Springs Tigers on September 23, 2011. Three full sized sheets of uncut one dollar bills each containing 32 one-dollar bills are overlapped in the middle with 4 cut one-dollar bills - two on each side at the bottom overlaid with plaques that read: "Riverton High School 1993-2001 63-22 4-State Championships" and "Sheridan High School 2007-2011 44-11 2-State Championships" while the plaque in the center reads: "Coach Don Julian 100th Win Sheridan 28 Rock Springs 0 September 23, 2011."
