On the first play from scrimmage Nate Kane takes the hand off from Kevin Bakkehaug and runs around the left side, in front of a near capacity home crowd, for 76-yards into the end zone to give the Broncs 6-points just 24-seconds into the game Friday evening against the Rock Springs Tigers. Nate was surprised but ready for his first action of the night when starting running back Jordan Roberts took a hard hit on the starting kick return. Jordan Roberts was soon back in the game and scored his first TD with 5:02 to go in the 1st Quarter. In the 2nd Quarter Riley Ryan caught a TD pass and Jordan Roberts scored another rushing TD which with the extra points gave the Broncs a halftime lead of 28 - 0. Early in the 3rd Quarter Rock Springs threw what appeared to be a TD pass caught by Preston Ackerman but his foot came down out of the back of the end zone. Several plays later Bronc Birney Brayton blocked a Tiger field goal attempt that kept the score 28 - 0, a score that would hold up the remainder of the game. Next Friday evening, September 30th, the 4 & 1 Broncs will take on the 5 & 0 Campbell County Camels in Gillette at 7:00 pm in the biggest game of the season so far.
