Sheridan Fire-Rescue conducted roof ventilation training at the former Big Horn Motors building at 5th and Main Streets Tuesday. Firefighters have been conducting various training evolutions since last week, including interior victim searches, firefighter self-rescue, and wall breeches. The training was made possible by building owner Dave Sorensen. Buildings like this provide much needed training opportunities to fire departments. The building is scheduled to be demolished later this week in preparation for the construction of the new Wyoming Rib and Chop House.
