Sheridan's running back senior Nate Kane slid into the end zone on his back before raising the ball in his right hand in unison with the official raising both of his arms to signal "TD." Bronc QB Kevin Bakkehaug pitched the ball to Kane who 5-seconds later was in the end zone with 7:10 to go in the 1st quarter for the first score of the game. It was a chilly Friday evening as the Broncs took on the Kelly Walsh Trojans in first round playoff action at home on Scott Field - but with this TD the Broncs turned on the heat, took care of business and sent the Trojans packing for the season. Sheridan would add 29 more points while allowing KW just 14 to "seal the deal" with a final score of 35 to 14 and send #3 Sheridan to #2 Gillette for semi-final action next Friday. With 2:41 to go in the first quarter Sheridan puts up their 2nd TD as Bakkehaug hits Nick Gill who runs down the sideline and tumbles over KW's defender Tanner Galey and into the end zone for the score

On a 1st and 10 from the 20 QB Kevin Bakkehaug calls his own number and runs straight toward and launches himself into the north goal with 8:07 to go in the 3rd quarter to run the score to 26 -7
At midfield Bronc junior Nick Gill puts a stop to the run by KW's running back Talen Markovich
With the Trojans on the move late in the game senior Bronc Scotty Wollen gets this interception of a ball intended for KW's Tanner Fischer allowing the Broncs to go the other way and cap of the evening four minutes later with a final TD by Bakkehaug with just under 3-minutes to go in the game
Out of the hold of Kameron Eckard, Bronc sophomore Jess Edens kicks the final point of the game to give the Broncs a 35 to 14 win over KW and propel them into the semi-final game against Campbell County next Friday
On KW's last drive of the game Sheridan's 6-foot Trae Kaufman knocks the ball away from the intended receiver 6'5" Dan Gochenour
On a 2nd down from the 5 on the final play of the game the Sheridan Broncs hold the Trojans out of the end zone while the official keeps a keen eye on the balls progress
