Red, White & Blue - Think Wyoming First

Holly and Jennifer, both from Sheridan, were busy hanging red, white and blue balloons on the fence of Washington Park adjacent to the busy Coffeen Avenue just prior to noon on Friday in support of a Think Wyoming First rally. Think Wyoming First is a grassroots citizen's organization that any Wyoming resident can join. The organization expresses displeasure when negative events impact Wyoming and will express approval when positive actions occur. Lee, from the Casper branch, pointed to the Casper high school projects being outsourced to out-of-state contractors to the tune of $100-$120 million and now being put on hold until "educational specifications" are complete as one example where the organization has voiced displeasure. The organization is preparing for a noon Friday BBQ lunch and talk to drum up support, make the area folks aware of Think Wyoming First and is sponsored by Wyoming Financial Insurance.
