A Reassuring View

The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) in a recent on-line article came to the conclusion that: "Among patients with major trauma admitted to level I or level II trauma centers, transport by helicopter compared with ground services was associated with improved survival to hospital discharge after controlling for multiple known confounders." It is reassuring to see that Sheridan Memorial Hospital (SMH) has the capability to transport by helicopter - in this case a St. Vincent Healthcare helicopter. The photo shown here was taken at SMH on Tuesday evening at 8:30 pm. For more on the JAMA report see: http://jama.ama-assn.org/content... and for more about SMH see: http://www.sheridanhospital.org/...
