"The Yellow Rose of Texas" or "Oregon Trail Rose?"

Just one-half block off the Main Street Re-construction in Sheridan - behind Star Video - is this lovely gem. Perhaps a "Harison's Yellow" circa 1830 that is famous because the pioneers brought cuttings with them when they came west. The "Harison's Yellow is believed to have its chance root starting in Harison's New York garden - at today's location of 31st Street between 8th & 9th Avenues. Oh yes, both of the Title names are correct common names for the Harison's Yellow.
