Standing between two City of Sheridan vehicles near the Main Street Bridge, Entech Engineering employee Jim Bob Myers has just dropped his hat as if to signal the start of a race to officially re-open Main Street before the start of school on August 30th. The Monday 2 pm re-opening followed a Sheridan North Main Street Reconstruction BBQ that was held from 11:00 to 2:00 on the street in front of the Dairy Queen and the Best Western Sheridan Center. The street opening signals the near completion of a one and a quarter mile, two-year project between the Bridge and Fort Road. For more photos scroll down.
