Just prior to Saturday morning's "The Link - Partners in Pink" 4th Annual Run/Walk, a Breast Cancer Awareness Event, members from Sheridan County School District No. 2 posed for this photo op. The group of about 60 were part of the 700 or so that participated in the 10Km, 5K run/walk, 1.5 mile walk that started in Whitney Commons at 10:00 am and finished at the soccer field of the YMCA. The race is underway - #302 Jeff Foster in a matter of just over 40-minutes would be the first 10K finisher
Almost 1-minute into the race they are still crossing the start line
Five minutes after the race started the last of the approximate 700 are crossing the start line

From the finish line you can see the Trail End Historic Site in the center of the photo with the Junior High School off to the right
The first 1.5 mile walker - Megan Laffite approaches the finish line just under the 20-minute mark
Here comes Nick Eaton the first 5K finisher at just over 22-minutes
You could even follow the arrow to food.
Or how about a drink? Like an Italian Cream Soda. Here you see both preparers and some consumers

After a fun filled morning it was time to head home until the next fun filled worth while event in Sheridan - the great place many of us get to call home
