This is how Saturday's Lunar Eclipse scene evolved as viewed from near east 5th Street and Ridge Road looking toward the Sheridan Veteran's Administration Hospital Area between 6:10 & 7:10am. Note: The sky area shown has been compressed downward to fit this allocated space and because each image of the moon is a separate photo exposure their reassembly in this photo may not depict accurately the moon's arc through the sky. This was 2011's second total lunar eclipse - the next total lunar eclipse is not until April 15, 2014. Note that in the last photo taken at 7:10am visibility of the moon is diminished as the sunrise begins to brighten the morning twilight.
