Mike Ibach - Conference Coach of the Year

The Wyoming Coaches Association has selected Sheridan Bronc Head Coach Mike Ibach as the East Conference Boys Basketball Coach of the Year. Mike joins Bubba O'Neil, the West Coach of the Year from Evanston, as the two top coaches in the 4A. Since the 2005-2006 season when the Broncs had an overall record of 3-19-0 and a state ranking of 28, Coach Ibach has turned the Sheridan Bronc basketball program around to end the 2011-2012 season with an overall record of 20-7-0 and a state ranking of 4 (3 in the division). Clockwise, from the top left, around the photo collage:
Being interviewed by Sheridan Media's Trevor Jackson after beating Billings Senior 57-56
Showing his displeasure after an officials call he didn't agree with during the overtime 1-point win against Gillette
During the National Anthem
Marker and ball? - most coaches use a white board but Coach Ibach apparently didn't need a white board to beat Cheyenne South 77-34
Always coaching and sending in signals
No, Coach Ibach is not pointing to the scoreboard that has his Broncs down by 102 points - but the scorekeeper did take note of the mistake and the Broncs went on to beat Riverton 62-56
A timeout with his Bronc warriors during the one point loss to Cheyenne Central
Sending in a signal during the 88-51 victory over the Green River Wolves
