Kendrick Park Ice Cream Stand - OPEN

At precisely 11:00 am Saturday Ashley Daniels raised the shutter to officially open the Kendrick Park Ice Cream Stand for the 2012 season. Junior High School 6th grader Thomas Detmer was first in line and ordered the huge lemon meringue cone you see on the right. Inside helping Ashley on opening day was Presley Legerski. Judging from the early turnout the stand is off to a great start. Scroll down to see more of the opening minutes, including a visit from Rexie the Irish Setter and what looked like a stick up. Until June 1st the hours of operation are: Mon-Fri 3-8 pm & Sat/Sun 11 am - 8 pm.
