The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) rolled into Sheridan featuring special guest former NFL football player Jim McMahon. Founded in 2003, the Wounded Warrior Project's purpose is to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. The program at Cloud Peak Lanes on Saturday featured the American Legion Honor Guard and the singing of the National Anthem by Alton Miller, from Banner and Jamie Barton of Wheatland. Bill Omalley, with WWP, spoke about the Wounded Warrior Project and the involvement of Jim McMahon and JIm's girl friend - then to the delight of many Jim McMahon spoke, signed autographs and was interviewed by Sheridan Media's Sports Director Trevor Jackson.
