The first snow of 2012 has found its way to the Sheridan area. Motorists headed south near the Big Horn Junction CENEX station after work on Tuesday drove into heavy blowing snow at times. The Sheridan area is under a Winter Weather Advisory until 10 am MST on Wednesday for elevations above 3500 feet. Snow will continue tonight tapering off on Wednesday morning. Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is possible with the heaviest snowfall occurring along and west of Interstate 90. North winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph can be expected.
