Holy Name School Excels at State Science Fair

Holy Name Catholic School was well represented at the State Science Fair held in Laramie, Wyoming on March 3-5, 2013. Liam Brown, 7th grader, won a $500 scholarship from the Wyoming Mining Association. Hannah Deutscher and Liam Brown have been invited to a conservation conference in Utah in June to present their winning projects. Maggie Pierce, 7th grade, took second in Environmental Management. Ryan Miller, 7th grader whose project was Energy, and Aieriana Roth, 7th grader, whose project was Medicine and Health, each received honorable mention. These students were competing with several schools from around the state. “We are extremely proud of our students. Holy Name is a small school and all of our student preform extremely well at state competitions,” said the principal Mary Legler.
