Great Weather - Good Roads - Oh the Sidewalks

Sam, from Sun Village, just north of Sheridan College was seen Wednesday afternoon carefully negotiating his way north along the east side of Coffeen Avenue on a sidewalk he says he hasn't seen since before Christmas. What appears as a windrow of dirt and gravel is actually mostly snow and ice that covers the sidewalk making it difficult to safely traverse the area from Sheridan College to the Coffeen Avenue/Brundage Lane intersection. Mayor Kinskey appeared on Sheridan Media's Public Pulse program January 2nd and in part addressed a callers concern about snow removal in this area but since then additional snow has fallen, perhaps adding to the callers concern. No doubt warmer weather will melt the snow and ice leaving only the dirt and gravel to be removed.
