On their first play from scrimmage, after having stopped the Camels on their first drive, Bronc Senior Kameron Eckard hit Senior Daniel Sessions with a short pass that Daniel ran 67-yards into the end zone for the first score in the 35th Energy Bowl on Saturday in Gillette. The extra point kick by Bronc Nick Gill was good to make the score 7 - 0 just a minute and a half into the game. That score held until 5:31 remained in the 1st quarter when Camel Dustin Erisman ran in for a score - the extra point attempt failed. The Broncs added a field goal and led 10 to 6 until 5-minutes to go in the half when Camel QB Austin Fort passed to Talon Nelson who ran in for a score. It was then 12 to 10 Camels - from that point on the Camels never looked back as they went on the win 39 to 10.
