Sheridan Fire-Rescue conducted the May fire drill at Sagebrush school Thursday morning. Fire drills are conducted each month throughout the school year at each of the Sheridan’s Elementary, Junior High, and High Schools. Firefighter/EMTs from Sheridan fire rescue provide fire safety presentations for Kindergarten through 5th grade classes. Topics include crawling low in smoke, testing smoke detectors, when to call 9-1-1, creating and practicing an escape plan, and injury prevention.
