Father Christmas Greets Logan & Jordan @ Trail End

Logan and Jordan were among the last visitors with Father Christmas on Sunday evening at the Trail End State Historic Site. Logan and Jordan each visited with Father Christmas and each received a shiny brass bell that put smiles on each of their faces. Sunday evening closed out the 2012 Holiday Open House and with an hour to go Cynde Georgen, the Historic Program Manager, tallied up a visitor count of 945. If you didn't happen to make the open house you really missed out but you can see all seven of the beautifully decorated trees below - sorry you cannot taste the "Figgy Pudding" or sip the spicy hot apple cider or listen to the music but you can scroll down to see who provided just that. Jane is in the Trail End Kitchen and Butlers' Pantry area with another tray of that famous "Figgy Pudding" and beyond her is that delicious spiced hot apple cider.
By my count I've seen seven different trees - how about you?
At 6:00 pm Sunday Cynde Georgen, the Historic Program Manager at the Trail End was photographed as she tallied up the visitor count so far - would you believe 945 with one hour yet to go.
The final vocal group of the evening, Just Harmony, is singing to a standing room only audience -I wish the choir director would turn around so we could see her face.
