District 1 & 2 - Doin' It Right

On a chilly, snow blowing, Monday afternoon three school bus operators from two different school districts, a wheel chair occupant, a care giver and two motorists all "do it right." as they stop near the beginning of Highway 335 near the Big Horn Junction. School District No. 2 wheel-chair bus operator, Debbie Connell, has just off-loaded a wheel-chair occupant and is stowing the chair lift while two School District No. 1 buses and two local motorists have properly stopped for the unloading process. It was noted that application of all required lights, signs and distance separations were followed by all involved and that the wheel-chair occupant, covered with a blanket, can be seen being safely pushed down the driveway at the left of the photograph. Hats off to District 1 & 2, the care giver and the local motorists for "Doin' It Right." This "Safety First in School Zones" dovetails with this recent story by Ron Richter: http://www.sheridanmedia.com/new...
