Deer Meet Killdeer

Posted in

Two varieties of deer were enjoying rain washed grass on Friday morning. The two killdeer birds didn't seem bothered at all by the two white tail deer grazing near by on the lush, wet green grass - wet from the April showers that arrived in the Sheridan area and that are expected to last through the weekend. Between midnight and noon Friday Sheridan received .17 inches of moisture - well below the record of 2.76 inches set on this date in 1963.
