Crossing the Line

The wind driven rain couldn't wash the white line off Scott Field allowing the official to see the ball Cheyenne East's goalie Dalton Hass has in his left arm cross over the goal line for the Sheridan Bronc score. From the right: Sheridan Senior Jake Moore heads the ball, East's goalie Freshman Dalton Hass appears to have stopped the ball from crossing the goal line, Hass rolls to his right and up carrying the ball across the goal line, Moore points with his arms to the line & the official makes the call. Sheridan went on to win the game 1 to 0.The conditions were brutal on Saturday with light rain driven by wind out of the northwest at 25 mph gusting to 40, with a temperature of 39 degrees and a windchill of 27 - must be spring soccer season in Wyoming. Next up for SHS soccer is a double header with the #1 Broncs taking the field at 4:00 pm, Friday, May 4th followed by the #1 Lady Broncs at 6:00 pm against the Camels and Lady Camels of Campbell County - the last regular season games for both teams and senior night to boot!
