Off and Running @ The Gun

Under perfect weather conditions the Sheridan High School Boys Varsity Cross Country team of: Michael Rotellini, Kyle Dietsche, Chris Garber, Taylor Bruso, Jordan Ligocki, Paul Stadick and Chris Romanjenko were off and running at the gun in the 2011 Michelle Ludwig Invitational 5000 Meter Run held on the grounds of Fort Mackenzie Friday afternoon. Less than 21 minutes later all seven were across the finish line with a team score of 54 - 2nd Place behind Campbell County High School and ahead of Natrona, Cody and Kelly Walsh that rounded out the top five teams. For Sheridan, Michael finished in 3rd while Kyle was 4th and Chris finished in 10th place. For the girls the top finisher was Katie Rotellini who finished in 17th place followed by Addy Ostler in 19th place. As a team the Sheridan girls finished in 5th Place. In Junior Varsity the Sheridan girls and boys both finished in 5th place, the Buffalo boys in 4th, NSI boys in 7th, Buffalo girls in 2nd and NSI girls in 7th. At the Middle School level the Sheridan boys and girls both finished in 3rd with Sheridan's Mackenzie Dougherty finishing in the 5th spot - the top placing for Sheridan.
