Almost a Foursome of Goals

In Saturday's high noon showdown in the Regional Soccer Championship game between the Sheridan Broncs and the Cheyenne Central Indians it was all Sheridan 3 to 0. It was almost a foursome of goals scored by Sheridan starting on the left with Riley Ryan's first half goal, then came his second, the post head injury goal, near the 26:30 mark of the second half. Then with just under 5-minutes left in the game Hunter Reece knocked in goal number three. On the right is the almost goal near the 9:40 mark of the second half by Sumner Ellis that the Sheridan fans and coaches thought should have counted - but the official did not concur. Next up for the Broncs it will be state tournament time with their opening game against the Riverton Wolverines set for 4:30 pm Thursday at the Big Horn Equestrian Center in Big Horn.
