In 7th Grade Football Action the Indians outscore the Broncs

On a quarterback keeper with 25-seconds to go in the 1st half Sheridan's Sandis Cook runs into the end zone for the 7th Grade Broncs only score against the Lodge Grass Indians at Byron Chamberlain Field on Saturday morning. Cook was sandwiched between #23 Robert Hogan and #25 Cheeto Nomee short of the goal line but managed to fall forward across the line for the score despite protests from Indian's coach Trever Bird that Cook's knee was down before the ball crossed the goal line. On the point after attempt, the kick by Broncs Nicholas Bell was blocked by the right shoulder of Lodge Grass' Trindell Covers Up to keep the score at 14 -6 going into halftime. The Indians would score once more in the 2nd half for a final score of 21 - 6. Sheridan was then scheduled to play Dean Morgan in the 2nd game of Saturday's doubleheader.
