With less than 8-minutes to go in a windy and hard fought battle Sheridan's Senior Hunter Reece would not be denied as he drove toward the goal and kicked the ball past Buffalo's Junior Neil Medders for the first score of the game. It was not quite enough as Buffalo responded in kind with less than 3-minutes to go in the game. It was tied at one all at the end of 80-minutes. In overtime Sheridan thought they scored at the 8:20 mark, but didn't until the 2:20 mark of the first 10-minute overtime period. Buffalo responded at the 8-minute mark of the second 10-minute overtime period. When the 100 minutes had finally expired the score was still tied at 2 - 2 thus allowing Buffalo to go home tired but unbeaten on the season while Sheridan went home just tired but still on spring break.
