Assistance for veterans and/or dependents of veterans in obtaining veteran benefits; assist them in completing benefit forms; provide veteran benefit contract information; act as a liaison with Federal, State and Local veteran agencies; local veteran groups, welfare agencies; local and veteran hospitals, employment agencies and community groups regarding veterans rights and benefits provided by law regarding pension, compensation, insurance, education, hospitalization and rehabilitation; and to help veterans seek alternate or additional funding sources for veterans’ services program (grants, matching funds). Distribute information to veterans pertaining to Federal, State and local veterans benefits.
Hearing aid, eyeglass and dental program. This program is to assist veterans who are not eligible for hearing aids, eyeglasses and dental work through the VA. There is a copayment based on income for this program.
Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday – Sheridan – DEQ Building (morning) Sheridan VA (afternoon)
Monday, Thursday and Friday – Buffalo – Veterans’ Home of Wyoming (except for the 3rd Friday of each month.)
3rd Friday of Each Friday of each Month – Kaycee Town Hall 9am–11am and Clearmont Library 1:30pm-3:30pm
