Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his stepdaughter, Margaret Davis, his brothers Gerald and Charles Blakeman, and a baby sister Angela.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years Kathryn; his son Jerry Dean Blakeman and wife Judy of Sheridan; his daughter Jean Holwell and husband Kenneth of Sheridan; his grandchildren Pat Svoboda and husband Ted of Hulett, Loren Blakeman and wife Brandy of Sheridan, Brian Blakeman and wife Terri of Sheridan, Deah Hendriksz and husband Jeff of Los Angeles, CA, Stephen Holwell and wife Stacy of Sheridan, Aaron Holwell and wife Nikki of Sheridan, and Debra Ives and husband Brandon of Sheridan.  He also has 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, with one to arrive soon.  Other survivors include his three sisters, Anna Mae McWethy of Loveland, CO, Edna “Toots” MacPherson of Palouse, WA, and Daisy Dennis and husband Raymond of Hulett; and his two brothers, Frank Blakeman and wife Doramay of Sundance, WY, and Don Blakeman and wife Irene of North Carolina.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be planned at a later date as arranged by Kane Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sheridan Senior Center, Hospice of the Big Horns, or the Sheridan Cat and Dog Shelter in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, P.O.
