Celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 4th at 12:30 pm at the Prairie Dog Community Center, located at the junction of Meade Creek road and U.S. Highway 14. Lewis passed away on October 25th, 2015. Thelma passed away on September 2nd, 2007.

Gavin P. Simpson, 37, of Story, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Sarah McKinley, returned to her heavenly home May 28, 2016. She was born on November 5, 1937, in San Antonio, TX, to Margaret (Taylor) and Leo E. Davis. She attended and graduated Garland High School and enrolled in Southwest Texas State Teachers College before moving with her family to Sheridan, WY in 1956. There she met the love of her life, Ridgely Niver McKinley.

Christina “Tina” L. Davidson, 24, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at her residence. She was born on June 5, 1991, to parents, Daniel and Michelle (Osborn) Davidson in Lodi, CA. Tina was a devoted mother to her two boys.

Mass of Christian Burial for Lynn Kostenbauer, 80 year old Buffalo resident who passed away quietly Thursday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center, will be celebrated Wednesday, June 1st at 10:00 from the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Pete Johnson as officiant. A Vigil Service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services for Robert Kube 95 year old former Buffalo resident who passed away January 4, 2015 in Boulder, Colorado and his wife Evelyn Kube 94 year old former Buffalo residents who passed away August 8, 2015 also in Boulder, will be held Tuesday June 7th at 10:00 a.m. from the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Buffalo with Father Doug Wasinger and Deacon Carl Kube officiating.

Leta Jo Helvey, 81, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016, at the Sheridan Manor.

Gary Lynne (DeVault) Gold 70, of Sheridan, passed away on May 21, 2016, at the Westview Health Care Center. She was born on March 28, 1946, in Dover, Ohio to parents James and Marjorie (Jackson) DeVault.

Funeral services for Carolyn McGill, 77 year old Buffalo resident who passed away Tuesday a the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Tuesday May 31st at 2:00 p.m. from the United Methodist Church in Buffalo with Pastor John Constantine officiating. Interment will be in Milford, Iowa with a graveside service to be announced.

Funeral services for Chester Marshall, 97 year old Buffalo resident who passed away early Saturday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Friday May 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Summit Wesleyan Church in Buffalo with Pastor William Dunlap officiating. Visitation will held from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Theodore “Ted” Hammer, 82, passed away at the Veterans Mountain View Nursing Home in Sheridan, Wyoming, on November 18, 2015 after a short illness.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Heggen Harris. Beverly died on May 14, 2016 from an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Rex J. Davenport, 54, of Sheridan, WY passed away May 19, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Rex was born June 16, 1961, in Oklahoma City, OK to Esther “Mitch” Byrley-Norris and Clarence Davenport. Rex enjoyed tinkering on motors, watching Nascar and listening to country music. Family and friends were the most important things to Rex. He was extremely proud of his children & grandchildren.

Verna Sethman, 74, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at her residence. She was born on June 4, 1941, the daughter of Nis and Signe (Miller) Laursen in Cherokee, Iowa.

Minerva Sanderson, passed away May 15, 2016, she was born on July 10, 1918, in San Antonio, TX, to Angela (Cisneros) and Manuel G. Silvee. She grew up in Galveston, TX; was baptized at Central Christian Church at the age of 12 years. She graduated from Ball High School and enrolled in Droughn Business College where she took secretarial and accounting courses.
