Born in Sheridan, Wyo., Feb. 16, 1929, William James Brown, Jr. was the only son of William J. and Elizabeth Brown who ranched east of Buffalo. He and his sister Betty Jean were virtually the only students in a one-room school for eight years, until high school in Sheridan, where Bill was active in FFA and graduated in 1948.

Funeral services for Robert Ambrose (Henry) Muir, Jr. (86 years old), who died on March 5, 2012 will be held Saturday, March 10th at 2:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Chaplain Randy Sawyer officiating.

Walter Goodman, 86, of Story, WY, passed away on March 4, 2012, at his home of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Goodman was born in Sheridan, WY, on February 11, 1926, to Henry Goodman, Sr. and Katherine (Glantz) Goodman. He served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946. He was stationed in France, Germany and Belgium and also participated in the Battle of the Bulge.

Henry William "Hank" Kusel, 71, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the the Saddleridge Care Center after a long illness. He was born January 10, 1941 in Sheridan, WY to Herman and Eileen West Kusel. After graduating from Sheridan High, he joined the Navy and served from 1960 to 1964 for a time on the USS Enterprise in the Mediterranean and off Cuba.

Henry William "Hank" Kusel, 71, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Westview Health Care Center.

Funeral Mass for Hank will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Ron Stolcis officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. A reception will follow in the parish hall.

Joan E. Klopcic, 63, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away on February 29, 2012 at her home with family. Joan was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1948, the daughter of the late Arnold and Ruth Meusborn.

Joan is survived by her husband Ralph; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Jennifer Klopcic; daughter Sandi Klopcic; granddaughter Victoria and sister Judi Williamson.

Edna "Jeanette" Douglas, 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving and devoted family after a courageous battle with cancer.

David Peter Filbert passed from this earth to his heavenly home on Monday, February 27, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. David died at the VA Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

Funeral services for Rodney Allen Hudson, 69 year old Buffalo man who passed away Saturday at the Johnson County Medical Center, will be held Friday, March 2nd at 10:00 a.m. from the Buffalo Wesleyan Church in Buffalo with Pastor William Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. from Adams Funeral Home chapel in Buffalo.

Funeral services for Beth Walker, 61 year old Alexandria, Virginia resident who passed away January 2nd in Arlington, Virginia, will be held Saturday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Father Doug Wasinger officiating. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral.

Frederick Wilson Working passed away on February 22, 2012 at the Sheridan VAMC, he was 91 years old. Fred was born to Keith and Beulah (Damey) Working on June 6, 1920, in Noble County near Ligonier, Indiana, on his grandfather’s farm which was an Indian Land Grant signed by President Andrew Jackson in 1834.

Harold E. “Ted” Eutsler passed away on February 17, 2012 at the age of 85 at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital. Memorial services are set for March 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Adams Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made in Harold’s name to Shrine Crippled Children’s Hospital in care of Adams Funeral Home at 351 N Adams Ave, Buffalo, Wyoming 82834.

Victor J. Slack, 91, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012, peacefully during a nap at his home. He was the adopted son of John and Mary Slack.

Fay J Symons passed away peacefully on Saturday, 18 February 2012 at the Billings Clinic in Montana at the age of 86. A clipping she posted to her refrigerator is a fitting tribute to her life of service; “We exist temporarily through what we take, but we live forever through what we give.” Author unknown

Gerald Lee Banks, 66, of Sheridan, WY died Friday, February 17, 2012, in Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

Gerald was born March 12, 1945, in Powell, WY to Eldon & Frances (Long) Banks.
