Lawrence G Gill Jr. passed away on February 12, 2016, one week after his 93rd birthday. He was born on February 5, 1923 in Decherd Tennessee. His parents were Lawrence Gordon Gill Sr. and Hazel Shelley Gill. He attended Georgia Tech for 2 years prior to entering the Army.

Donald Rex DeLapp, 83, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at the Westview Health Care Center. He was born on June 17, 1932, in Havre, MT, to parents Ralph Emerson and Cora L. (Williams) DeLapp. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1951. Later he married Bernice Kinter in Sheridan, WY, on June 20, 1953.

Robert A. Blakeman was born on August 14, 1928, in Carlile, WY, to Fred (Fritz) Blakeman and Frances Roberts Blakeman and passed away in his home in Sheridan WY on February 15, 2016.

“Ben” Peterson, 96, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at his residence.

Ben Peterson was born in Timber Lake, S.D. He left the home ranch in 1940 and by hitch hiking and hopping a few freight trains arrived at Santa Monica,
CA. He worked for Douglas Aircraft as a machinist. He married Alice Cray September 12, 1942.

On February 13, 2016, Barrett Bradford Waters died at his home in Sheridan, Wyoming. Brad was born on December 12, 1930 in New York City. His parents were Elizabeth Bradford Waters and Barrett Waters. He grew up in Augusta, Kentucky, Arizona and Florida. At age six, Brad's father died.

Jeremy Alan Gardner, 41, of Sheridan, son of Steven and Cheryl Gardner of Delta, CO, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016, at his residence in Sheridan.

Francis “Gene” E. Pitt, 70, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at the Sheridan Manor. He was born on August 28, 1945, in Sheridan to parents Francis and Edna (Johnson) Pitt.

Robert “Bob” Eddy Demple, 85, of Sheridan, WY passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2016 at his Brookdale cottage with his wife, Eleanor at his side. He was born on March 22, 1930 in Sheridan to Mabel (Eddy) and George Francis Demple, Sr. Bob attended Holy Name School and graduated from Sheridan High School. He was active in sports especially high school football where he lettered.
