Danial Blaney Jr.

Daniel McClarn Blaney Jr., 70, of Sheridan, WY passed away at his home on Saturday, September 24, 2011 with his wife and friends at his side. He was born in the old hospital on Saberton to Daniel and Isable Kusel Blaney on Nov. 21, 1940.

Sharon Anderson, 54, of Sheridan, WY, passed away on September 20, 2011.

Sharon was born to Dwain Dennis and Anita Louise (Samual) Curry in Newcastle, WY. She was a homemaker for most of her life, a full time mother to everyone and she enjoyed gathering people together. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, spending time with her friends and spending time with her granddaughter, Kylie.

David Frederick Peterson, 53, died suddenly at his home in Sheridan, Wyoming, on Thursday, September 15, 2011.

David was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Adrian and Thelma Peterson. Adrian had been active in the Air Force, and as a child, David became fascinated with the military and the great wars of America, which ignited his passion for history and for learning.

Norma Jean was born at home to Betty and Willard Berry in Riley County, Kansas. Norma was the older of two daughters, survived by her sister Wilma.

Norma attended the Riley County Rural School District and graduated from Riley County High School.

Norma married Larry Bennington in 1957 and gave birth to two children.

Clayton E. Wilson, 88, passed away September 13, 2011 with family by his side in Sheridan, WY.

Clayton was born to Maude and Lewis Wilson in Murray City, OH September 29, 1922. Clayton was honorably discharged as a Tech 5 after serving his country in Germany and France during WWII with the 2nd Infantry Division "Indian Head" 109th Field Artillery Battalion from 1942 - 1946.

Aspen Rawlings

Aspen Nicole Rawlings, 19, of Parkman, Wyoming, passed away on September 18, 2011 while hiking in the Big Horn Mountains west of Big Horn, Wyoming.

Aspen was born on December 19, 1991, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She lived in Socorro, NM, Loveland and Ft. Collins, CO., before moving to Wyoming in 2001.

Elizabeth "Beth" Larson

Elizabeth "Beth" Larson, 56, of Sheridan passed away at her residence on September 13, 2011.

Beth was born on September 14, 1954 to parents Elizabeth Teresa (Regan) and John Robert Mills in Cheyenne, WY. She attended schools in Sheridan and received her LPN degree at Sheridan College.

John Caroll Jackson, 65, of Sheridan passed away on September 13, 2011 at his residence.

U.S. Senator Malcolm Wallop

Former U.S. Senator Malcolm Wallop, 78, passed away at his residence in Big Horn, WY on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 surrounded by his family.

Malcolm was born on February 27, 1933 in New York City, NY, to Oliver Malcolm and Jean (Moore) Wallop. He was raised in Big Horn, WY. He graduated from Cate School in Carpinteria, CA and then from Yale University in 1954.

Bernard D. Studer Sr.

Gone, never to be forgotten, long-time Wyoming resident, Bernie Studer Sr., passed away in Billings MT September 14. Born in Ludell Kansas February 15, 1935, Bernie had resided in Wheatland, Torrington, Riverton, Dubois, and settled in Sheridan for 35 years.

Larry Lee Legler, of Sheridan, Wyoming died at home on September 13, 2011 after a short and grueling fight against pancreatic cancer. Larry was born in Craig, Colorado, May 6, 1947, to Fred and Maxine Legler. The Legler family moved to Lynch, Wyoming for several years and then to Cody Wyoming, where Larry graduated from high school.

Ruth Bernice Vannoy 91, of Ranchester, Wyoming, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at Sheridan Manor Nursing Home in Sheridan, Wyoming.

She was born January 30, 1920, to Dewey and Ethel Krohn in West Plains, Missouri. She came to Clearmont, Wyoming when she was 9 years old where her parents homesteaded and raised sugar beets.
