Vicki Yalowizer

Vicki Yalowizer, 57, of Decker, MT passed away at her residence on January 1, 2009.

Vicki was born on October 19, 1951 to Virgil and Donna Gardner at the family home in Pine River, MN. She was a graduate of Pequot Lakes High School and went on to receive her Bachelors Degree in Business and Psychology. She married her long time highschool friend, David Yalowizer, in Ranchester, WY on July 29, 1998 and they spent the last eleven years together. Her favorite time of day was ‘happy hour’ when she got to be with her numerous friends. She loved being in the mountains, four-wheeling, and fishing (if the fish were biting). Vicki especially enjoyed spending time at Bear Lodge and sitting next to a campfire. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tease her brother-in-laws about the Denver Broncos losing games. She was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. Vicki even managed to win money from one of her brother-in-laws but the other was too tight to bet. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and her animals. Her last wish came when she got her kitten Sky.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lonnie Gardner; and her previous spouse, Greg Johnson. She is survived by her husband, David, of Sheridan; son, Joe Yalowizer, of Sheridan; step-father, Claude Schmidt of Pequot Lakes, MN; brothers, Sparky Gardner and his wife, Gail,, Steve Schmidt and his wife, Brenda, and Scott Schmidt; sisters, Kathlene Gardner and Terry Bratt and her husband, Stan; brother-in-laws, Mike Yalowizer and his wife, Bonnie and Matt Yalowizer and his wife, Susan; sister-in-law, Dott Hulett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be held. Kane funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
