Chuck passed away quietly late Wednesday evening at his ranch on Rock Creek, surrounded by his family.

Kenneth Bettcher, 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at his home with his wife by his side.

Kenny was born on July 27, 1944 in Burke, SD to parents Alfred and Freida (Hauf) Bettcher. He moved to Sheridan when he was 15 and later married Betty Jean “Jeanie” Rucki on June 1, 1963 at Holy Name Catholic Church. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mary Frances Bartenhagen, 85, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services for 91 year old Louise Turk, of Kaycee, Wyoming who passed away Tuesday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held at the Harold Jarrard Park in Kaycee on Saturday, September 28th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Carol Buckingham officiating. A committal service will follow at the Kaycee Cemetery and then a reception will be held at the Harold Jarrard Park.

Funeral services for Allen Melander, 90 year old Buffalo man who passed away early Tuesday morning at the V.A. Medical Center in Sheridan, will be held at a later date. Donations in Mr. Melander’s memory may be made to help the family defray funeral expenses in care of Harness Funeral Home, 351 N. Adams Avenue in Buffalo.

Rodney Paul Gibson, 70, of Sheridan Wyoming, Went to Heaven September 14, 2013. Rodney passed away from natural causes.

Rodney was born in Powell, Wyoming to George and Leta Gibson. He completed High School in Powell, Wyoming. He was not married, but had several girls he adored.
He worked for McDonald in Sheridan for 16 years and retired in 2008.

Marilyn Marie Ericson, 70, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Green House Living.

Services for Marilyn will be held next Spring.

Fred H. Phillippi passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 in the Big Horn Mts. He was born May 15, 1944 in Miles City, MT to Fred and Ellen Hough Phillippi, the first of six children. He graduated from Powder River County High School, Broadus, MT and was a proud member of their 1961 Montana State Championship football team.
