Services for Sally Ann Lancaster, 58 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Monday evening at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo, will be held at a later date. Donations in Sally’s memory may be made to help defray expenses in care of the Adams Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.
Sally Ann Lancaster was born on May 30, 1953 in Phoenix, Arizona to Luther and Margaret Triplett. She grew up and attended school in Phoenix and graduated from high school in 1971. After high school she obtained a nursing degree and went to work in the nursing home field. While working as a nurse, Sally met Harold Lancaster and they were married in Phoenix. The couple lived in Phoenix where they both worked as nurses. Harold passed away in 1992 and Sally continued to live in Phoenix until 2006 when she moved to live with her daughter in Buffalo, Wyoming where she worked in the variety department at DJ’s Thriftway. She continued to live in Buffalo until the time of her death.
Sally loved crafting and playing with her grandchildren. Sally passed away knowing that she was loved and respected and she will be missed everyday.
Sally is survived by two daughters; Annie Gilbert and her husband Doug of Buffalo, Wyoming and Connie Lancaster of Sheridan, Wyoming, three brothers; Nick and Larry Triplett and Marshall Greer all of Phoenix, Arizona, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother.
