Funeral Services for Bob Robinson, 84 year old Buffalo resident who passed away on Wednesday afternoon at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming will be held on Saturday, August 27th at 2:00 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Ken Kinner officiating. Military graveside rites will be held afterwards at the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, Wyoming. Friends may donate in Bob’s memory to the VFW Auxiliary Post 2469 in care of Adams Funeral Home 351 North Adams Ave, Buffalo, Wyoming 82834.

Bob Robinson was born September 30, 1926 in Sussex, Wyoming to Robert and Margaret Robinson. He grew up and went to school in Sussex and Buffalo, Wyoming. At the age of fourteen he started working for John Streeter and Harry Jones doing ranch work. Bob joined the Army in 1943 and served in World War II, landing in Europe the 7th of June – the day after D-Day. After the service he met and later married Margaret McCoubrey June 13, 1946 in Buffalo. Bob and Margaret made their home in Midwest where he had a trucking business for a couple of years before going to work for Amoco Production. The couple lived in Midwest for 38 years before retiring and moving to Buffalo in 1984. Margaret passed away in April of 1990 and Bob continued to live in Buffalo until the time of his death.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time in the mountains with his friends and watching rodeos. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cards. Bob liked to check in and check up on all his friends.

Bob is survived by one daughter, Cathy Bounds and her husband Bill of Midwest, Wyoming; one sister Ethel Bock of Klamath Falls, Oregon; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, mother, father and one son, one brother, and one sister.
