Funeral services for Richard Jares, 25 year old Sheridan man who died suddenly in Gillette on August 28th, will be held Saturday, September 8th at 2:00 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Tom Saur officiating. A private family interment will be held by his family after the services. Donations may be made in Richard’s memory to an educational fund set up for his two sons, in care of the Adams Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.
Richard Scott Jares was born on July 11, 1987 in Worland, Wyoming to Scott and
Barbara Jares. He grew up and attended schools in both Tensleep and Buffalo, Wyoming. After high school Richard worked in the oil fields and in construction. Richard loved sports; he was a voracious reader and was an avid card and coin collector.
He is survived by two sons: Justin Hall of Worland, Wyoming and Roman Jares of Gillette; one brother David Jares of Sheridan; two sisters Brenna Williams and her husband Randy of Spearfish, South Dakota and Gennisee Jares of Sheridan; five step-brothers, A.J. Bartlett and his wife Heather of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jerimiah Bartlett of Buffalo; Christian Dees of Sheridan, Jonathan Garro of Buffalo and Skyler Garro also of Buffalo; his father Scott Jares and wife Tracy of Buffalo; his mother Barbara White of Sheridan; his maternal grandmother Nancy Moses of Sheridan and his fiancé Kellie Berns of Gillette.
