Private services for Pat Romine, 87 year old Buffalo woman who passed away early Wednesday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center will be held by her family. Donations in Mrs. Romine’s memory may be made to the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Adams Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.
Patricia Ann Bennett was born on August 31, 1925 in Bell, California to William and Ann Bennett. She grew up and went to school in Long Beach, California and graduated from Jordan High School. She was married at the end of WWII to Bill Hall and they made their home in Dumas, Texas. She was later married to W.T. Romine in Long Beach where they made their home until moving to Wyoming in 1949. They lived in Cheyenne where Mr. Romine was in construction. In 1955 they moved to Lander where Pat was a secretary and worked at various businesses. After a divorce she continued living in Lander until 1992 when she moved to Buffalo to be near her children.
She was an active member of the Daughters of the Nile, the Oriental Band and a supporter of the Shriner’s Hospital. Pat enjoyed sewing for charity and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons; Mike Romine and his wife Susie of Buffalo and James Romine and his wife Sue, also of Buffalo; two daughters, Suzi Black and her husband Mitch and Sally Umber and her husband Ray also of Buffalo; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Allen of Phoenix, Arizona; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Patrick Romine.
