Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara Frances Whitner Wilson, a 78 year old Buffalo, Wyoming woman who passed away Wednesday in Casper, Wyoming, will be celebrated Wednesday, April 4th at 10:00 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo with Father Pete Johnson as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at the Adams Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Marshall Eugene Whiting, 92, of Sheridan, Wyoming, died Friday, March 30, 2012 in Westview Health Care Center.

Mr. Whiting was born May 5, 1919, in Murphysboro, Illinois to George and Sylvia Whiting. He grew up in Denver, Colorado. Marshall was and “old railroader” having worked for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad.

Barbara Ellen (Voiles) Roth was born to Samuel and Elsie Voiles on December 14, 1943 in Sheridan, Wyoming. She grew up on the ranch her grandparents had homesteaded on the Middle Prong of Wild Horse Creek between Spotted Horse and Arvada, Wyoming. On the ranch she gained her love of all things Wyoming, especially horseback riding and ranching.

Joe Melneck passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Sheridan Manor. At the request of the deceased, no service will be held. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.

Elizabeth Helen Eckroth, 87, formerly of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in Casper, WY.

Services for Betty will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Ehiemere officiating. Interment will follow at the Sheridan Elks Memorial Cemetery.

Funeral services for Jean Butts, 61 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Monday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center following a courageous battle with cancer, will be held Thursday, March 29th at 2:00 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Reverend Tom Saur officiating. Visitation will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m.

Anna K Flint, 88, died March 22, 2012 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at Kane Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

Harry was born in Bennett, CO on his fathers homestead, to Clark Rudolph and Iola Rebecca (Ewers) Ilgen. He graduated from Aspen High in Aspen, Co, spent two years at the University of Northern Colorado and then in 1957 enlisted in the Army. He was stationed in Bussac, France as a machinist and in Berchtesgaden, Germany as an American Ski Patrolman.

Marna Owens, 60, former Sheridan resident, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Missoula, Montana. A memorial gathering will be announced later.

Janet S. Kukuchka, 89, of Sheridan passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Sheridan Manor.

Funeral services for Veda Bauer, 90 year old long time Buffalo resident who passed away early Wednesday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Saturday, March 31st at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo with Reverend John Bell officiating.

Private family services for Ruth Slater, 88 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Wednesday, March 14 at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo, will be held by her family in Miles City, Montana. Donations in Mrs. Slater’s name may be made to the Johnson County Library or the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Adams Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.

Ezekiel "Z" Allen Kennedy Timm, 22 days, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Lyle Burrington Tyler was born in Pierre, South Dakota on April 26th 1942 to A.B. (Bud) and Dorthy Tyler. Lyle had two older brothers Ronny and Larry and a younger sister Mary. Early in life Lyle developed quite the work ethic and it would become a theme throughout his life. At age five, Lyle claims to have laced up his work boots and started delivering milk for the the Tyler Dairy.
