Norman Dean Anthony, 76, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the V A Medical Center in Sheridan, WY.
Norm was born March 4, 1935 to parents Ruth and Fred Anthony. After serving in the Air Force he worked as a welder for most of his life. He also served as Mayor of Evansville and the community for ten years.
Norm enjoyed fishing, hunting, bingo, the outdoors and liked to watch wildlife. The most important thing in his life of family.
Norm was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jerry Anthony, and a brother, Jack Anthony. He is survived by his wife Wilma Anthony of Sheridan, WY, his son, Curtis (Holly) Anthony of Ennis, MT, his daughter, Julie (Kevin) Wayne of Spokane, WA along with seven grand children;
Edna Cardenas, James Anthony, Robin Myers, Levi Anthony, Elizabeth Wayne, Cordell Anthony, and Lynnette Blanton, seven great grandchildren. He also leaves behind sisters; Shirley Box and Doris Nipper, and a brother, Roy Anthony.
Norm will always be remembered as being a wonderful, loving person and for all the happiness he gave to others.
Graveside Services for Norm will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Oregon Trail State Veteran’s Cemetery in Evansville, WY.
