Bernard “Barney” Ross, 83, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017, at the Mountain View Living Center at the VA Hospital.

A memorial service will be 11 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Kane Funeral Home with Doug Goodwin officiating. A reception will follow in the Kane Reception Hall.

Memorials may be made to the VA Homeless Shelter, 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Patricia “Patty” Lou Zeiser, 63, of Sheridan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, in St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings, MT, with her family at her side.

Michael Woodley, 30, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at his residence.

Rosemary E. Brouwer, 97, of Sheridan, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Sheridan Manor. She was born May 28, 1919 in Omaha, Nebraska to Calvin and Kate (Field) Emmett. Rosemary graduated from North High School in Omaha and the University of Nebraska with a B.A. degree in 1940. She also, attended the University of Chicago for further studies in 1942.

Barney was born on July 15, 1933, in Hastings, NE, to Ruby (Harlow) and William Ross. He was married to Irene (Callahan) Ross.

Margaret Anne “Peggy” Kethman, 88, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at her son's residence. Peggy was born December 29, 1928, in Big Horn, WY, to Catherine (Nourse) and John Mills. She was married to Clarence Dewey Kethman.

Wyoming native Patrick Robert Corley of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away December 17, 2016, after a nine month battle with bile duct cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kalif Shrine, 145 W. Loucks St., Sheridan, WY on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

Janet E. Shepherd, 70, of Big Horn, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at her residence.

Janet was born on August 25, 1946, to parents LeRoy and Florence (Bunse) Schindler in St. Joseph, MO. She married Lewis Shepherd on June 20, 1968 in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, MO with honors, Summa Cum Laude in the class of 1968.

Private family services for Tim Carpenter, 60 year old Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly Thursday evening at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo, will be held by his family. Jean LaVon Thies, of Sheridan, passed away on January 4, 2017. She was born November 28, 1922, in Leoti, KS to Evans and Nettie Wikoff. Jean was the youngest of seven children. She grew up in Western Kansas, attended local schools, junior college and later Wichita Business College.

Tannya Lee Goodman, 63, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

LeRoy Peter Van Buggenum, 74, of Story, WY, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Green House Living in Sheridan, WY surrounded by his family. LeRoy had battled Creutzfeldt–Jakob Disease. He was born on March 17, 1942, in Casper, WY, to parents Peter and Dorothy Burnettie (Miller) Van Buggenum. He was raised on his family’s ranch near the Pumpkin Buttes, 40 miles south of Gillette, WY.

Carol Metcalf, 70, of Story, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born on December 7, 1946, in Casper, Wyoming, to Lawrence (Fuzz) and Virginia (Rinker) Forsberg. She married Richard Metcalf on April 30, 1966. Carol cherished her family and her home, and enjoyed the comradery of all of her friends.

Rickie Gerald, 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the Sheridan Manor.
